PAM + STEPHEN
Pam + Stephen have known each other since high school (however weren’t yet an item!) They have spent a large portion of their relationship in long-distance between Montreal and Baltimore, and more recently between Toronto and Chicago. Pam + Stephen moved to Chicago together in 2016, where Stephen started work and Pam started graduate school.
On any given Saturday night, you'll find them dressing up and getting dinner at a new, interesting restaurant that's popped up around the corner, and then finding their way to a cocktail bar afterwards (they love a good cocktail!) - of course COVID has altered this a bit but they love dinning in as well and love to host friends and family when its safe to do so!
Pam says her favourite thing about Stephen is “how he thinks about the world - he treats everything thoughtfully and is profoundly kind. He is the most honourable person I've ever met.” Stephen said Pam is “someone who has expanded his view of the world dramatically over the years we've been together. I immensely respect her desire to have a positive impact on the world and her passions have caused me to reach beyond those that I would have naturally gravitated to. I've even picked up a few of them along the way (cooking being the most acute example).”
Pam + Stephen got engaged in Tuscany last October and they have dreams to marry in the Rocky Mountains. I wanted to highlight this couple today, as like many, the uncertainty of COVID and its never ending implications took a tole on the planning the process and although we are on pause at the moment, these two amazing souls honoured their love and took a moment to celebrate. They may not know when they will marry legally but this 2020 highlight will carry them to that time and place and I’ll be ready and waiting to make their dreams come true!
